A.
Purpose. The Town of Warwick, pursuant to the authority
granted by the Agriculture and Markets Law § 305, Subdivision
6, as amended by Chapter 562 of the Laws of 1991,[1] hereby intends to extend the application of the agriculture
exemption provided in Agriculture and Markets Law § 305,
Subdivision 1, to include the fire and ambulance districts within
the Town of Warwick.

B.
It is hereby enacted that, in accordance with New
York Agriculture and Markets Law § 305, Subdivision 6, the
assessment determined pursuant to Subdivision 1 of said § 305
for property in the Town of Warwick shall be used for the benefit
of special ad valorem levy for fire and ambulance districts.
C.
This article shall take effect upon filing with the
Secretary of State pursuant to the New York State Municipal Home Rule
Law and shall apply to assessment rolls prepared on the basis of taxable
status dates occurring on or after January 1, 1993.
