All recreational facilities owned and maintained by and under the Board
of Supervisors of Lower Frederick Township and Park and Recreation Board of
said Township are for the benefit of all persons desiring to utilize parks
and recreation facilities of Lower Frederick Township.
Unless otherwise provided and published in advance, the normal hours
of operation for all facilities governed by this chapter shall be between
the hours of dawn and dusk.
Any swimming done by Township residents at any recreational facility
shall be done by the individual at their own risk.

No alcoholic beverages of any kind or nature shall be allowed on any
property maintained as a recreational facility by said Township.
Littering, in any manner, shall be prohibited.
The cutting of trees, shrubbery or flowers is strictly prohibited unless
prior approval is provided by the Park Commission or the Supervisors of said
Township.

Any cooking fire must be confined to the predesignated cooking area
or confined in portable cooking grills. Any cooking fire must utilize charcoal
briquettes as the source of fuel for cooking fire. No burning of wood is permitted.
Extreme care must be taken by all users of the facilities when utilizing fires
for cooking purposes and each user shall be responsible for seeing that all
fires are fully extinguished prior to departure.

Dogs and other domestic animals are not permitted in recreational facilities
except at Colonial Road Park.
A.
Parking or driving any motor vehicle beyond the cables, placed
by the Township personnel at all recreational facilities, shall be prohibited
except for emergency vehicles while being operated by persons performing their
official duties.
B.
Parking vehicles within the limits of Township recreational facilities
after dark may cause said vehicles to be removed at the owners expense.
Horseback riding in the recreational facilities is prohibited.
All users of the recreational facilities do so with the understanding
that, for their own protection and safety, all state and Township ordinances
are to be strictly enforced,
The violation of any of the above-mentioned rules is cause for immediate
eviction from the recreational facilities and/or formal legal prosecution.
Any person who violates or permits a violation of this chapter shall, upon
conviction in a summary proceeding brought before a District Justice under
the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, be guilty of a summary offense
and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $1,000,
plus costs of prosecution. In default of payment thereof, the defendant may
be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days. Each day or
portion thereof that such violation continues or is permitted to continue
shall constitute a separate offense, and each section of this chapter that
is violated shall also constitute a separate offense.
