The Board of Supervisors may, from time to time, amend, supplement, change, modify, or repeal this chapter by proceeding in accordance with the regulations of this article. The Board of Supervisors shall, by resolution adopted at a regular or special meeting, fix the time and place of a public hearing on the proposed amendment and cause public notice thereof to be given according to the definitions of "public hearing" and "public notice" set forth in Article II of this chapter.
All proposed amendments before adoption shall
be referred to the Montgomery County Planning Commission at least
30 days prior to the public hearing, for recommendation and report,
which shall be advisory.
