Interest shall be collectible on all municipal claims from the date
of completion of the work after it is filed as a lien and on all claims for
taxes or sewer rates from the date of the filing of the lien therefor at the
rate of ten percent (10%) per annum as authorized by Act 113 of 1981 of the
General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.[1]

This chapter shall take effect immediately and shall apply to all municipal
claims and claims for taxes and sewer rates for which the filing of the lien
therefor occurs after the date of enactment hereof.
