It shall be unlawful and shall constitute disorderly conduct for any person willfully:
A. 
To be guilty of a breach of the peace, vagrancy, disorderly conduct or to engage in fighting or to incite others to fight or to engage in any unlawful act tending to imperil the personal security of any person or to endanger or injure property within the Township of Lower Makefield.
B. 
To use loud, boisterous, profane, blasphemous, indecent or immoral language upon or near any of the public highways or public places or in a manner so as to annoy residents in the neighborhood or to make any unseemly noise or disturbance to the annoyance of the residents nearby.
C. 
To commit any act of lewdness or public indecency of exposure of person or to become intoxicated.
D. 
To loaf, loiter or stand upon any of the sidewalks, roads or other public highways or places so as to interfere with the free and full passage of residents or travelers.
E. 
To set up, maintain, open, operate or conduct any gambling place or any immoral show, entertainment or exhibition, unlawful drinking place, resort or house of prostitution or to participate in the operation of any of the same or to be a patron thereof.
F. 
To set up, maintain or possess any device which is or can be used for purposes of gambling.
G. 
To carry concealed any deadly weapon, unless authorized by law, or to discharge any gun, whether the propelling force is compressed air or explosion or firearm, unless in defense of person and/or property, except when such gun is being carried and discharged by a person or persons who is and are duly licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to hunt game or fowl in season or as authorized by and pursuant to any other lawfully issued hunting or deer control permit; and further provided that this provision shall not apply to a person or persons discharging firearms at an organized trap shoot, the location for which has been approved by the Board of Supervisors, or at a properly constructed shooting range which has been approved by the Board of Supervisors, or when, upon express designation and authorization by the Township, or its authorized officials, representatives, agents or contractors, such person is actively engaged in and carrying out any actions, activities, practices, duties, responsibilities or other obligations related to or in connection with a deer management program or recreational public hunting, as such terms are defined in Chapter 141 hereof.

H. 
To throw on, from or unto any highway any stones, snowballs or other material or to raise any false alarm of fire.
I. 
To interfere with any member of the Police Department of Lower Makefield Township or any other police officer in the performance of their duties, resist arrest or fail to render assistance to any police officer when called upon by him.
J. 
To tamper with, destroy or otherwise interfere with any lights, guardrails, signs or other property or materials placed in public places by any officials or agents of the Township of Lower Makefield or of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Any gun which uses compressed air or a spring as the propelling force for a pellet and when being used or carried in violation of any provision or section of this chapter may be seized, confiscated and retained by any duly constituted police officer of the Township of Lower Makefield or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and, after being so seized, confiscated or retained shall be held for a period of 10 days; in the event that no cause is shown within the said ten-day period why the said gun should be returned, it shall thereupon be destroyed.

It shall be a violation of this chapter for any person, firm or corporation to commence construction activities prior to 7:00 a.m. or after dusk on weekdays and prior to 8:00 a.m. or after dusk on weekends and holidays.

Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be liable, on conviction before any District Justice, to a fine or penalty not to exceed six hundred dollars ($600.) and costs of prosecution and reasonable attorney fees for each and every offense. If the defendant neither pays nor timely appeals the judgment, the township may enforce the judgment pursuant to the applicable rules of civil procedure.
