GENERAL REFERENCES
Parks and recreation — See Ch. 139.
The Borough Council of Malvern hereby vests in itself the powers enumerated
in 53 P.S. §§ 47701 through 47713 of the Pennsylvania Borough
Code, to provide, improve, maintain and regulate public parks, parkways and
playgrounds, playfields, swimming pools, public baths, bathing places, indoor
recreation centers and gymnasiums, collectively called "recreation places,"
within the Borough, together with any and all other enabled powers pursuant
to those sections of the Borough Code relating to recreation areas.
All powers with respect to recreation places, as set forth herein, shall
be carried out in accordance with and subject to all rights, duties and limitations
set forth in the said 53 P.S. §§ 47701 through 47713 of the
Pennsylvania Borough Code.
