In the Incorporated Village of Lynbrook, the annual compensation
of the Mayor and Trustees shall be established annually by resolution
of the Board of Trustees at the public hearing on the tentative budget
pursuant to Village Law, § 5-508(3). The annual compensation
of the Mayor and Trustees shall be payable in equal monthly installments.

The rate of annual compensation of the Mayor and of the Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Lynbrook, as provided in § 43-1, shall take effect at the commencement of the following fiscal year, subject to the provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law § 24.
