A. 
Firearms processing fees.
(1) 
Firearms I.D. card: $5.
(2) 
Permit to purchase firearm: $2.
(3) 
Permit to carry firearm: $10.

Fingerprinting fees: $10.

Background check: $10.
D. 
Municipal Court discovery requests. All requests for Municipal Court discovery shall be submitted through the Borough Prosecutor, and the following fees shall be paid for said discovery:

(1) 
Copies, one to 10 pages (per page): $0.75.
(2) 
Copies, 11 to 20 pages (per page): $0.50.
(3) 
Copies, over 20 pages (per page): $0.25.
(4) 
The actual postage for any discovery sent by mail and $0.25 for the envelope.
(5) 
Photographs will be photocopied at the rates established herein. If requests are made for duplicate photographs, the actual cost of making the photographs shall be charged.
(6) 
Duplication of audio and video tapes constitutes an extraordinary duplication process and will be charged at the rate of $5 per tape.
(7) 
On any item that cannot be photocopied on the Borough copy machine or not otherwise provided for in this schedule, the actual cost incurred in making the copy shall be charged.
(8) 
Where the discovery must be obtained from an entity other than the Borough (e.g., another police department), the actual costs paid to the other entity shall be charged.
E. 
Motor vehicle accident reports.

(1) 
First page through 10th page: $0.75 per page.
(2) 
Eleventh page through 20th page: $0.50 per page.
(3) 
Additional pages over 20: $0.25 per page.
If copies of reports are requested other than in person, an additional fee of up to $5 for the first three pages and $1 per page thereafter may be added to cover the administrative costs of reproducing the report.
F. 
Contracted police services.

(1) 
Any request for police attendance for private purposes outside the regular duty assignments of police officers, such as the use of uniformed police officers for traffic control, crowd control, security, and the like police services, at privately sponsored gatherings, events or other special private appropriate occurrences, shall be made to the Borough Administrator.

(2) 
The Borough Administrator, at his discretion, may assign members of the Police Department not on regular duty to perform services described in the preceding paragraph for private purposes. While on said duty, the members of the Department so assigned shall be under the supervision and control of the Borough Administrator and superior officer(s) of the Department and shall be subject to the provisions of this chapter.

Compensation; minimum charges; exception nonprofit agencies; cancellation.

(a) 
The Borough of Netcong shall be compensated at the rate of 1 1/2 times the current sergeant rate plus $5 per hour.

If a superior officer is assigned to the contracted service the Borough of Netcong shall be compensated at the rate of 1 1/2 times of the current superior officers’ rate plus $5 per hour.
[2] 
If a special police officer is assigned to the contracted service the Borough shall be compensated at a rate of $50 per hour.
(b) 
There will be a four-hour minimum charge for each police officer assigned to private duty by the private party making the request for service. In addition to the above-stated rates, an administrative fee of $15 per hour shall be charged for the processing of funds, maintenance of accounts, issuance of checks, payment of taxes, and other administrative costs paid by the municipality. The Borough’s administrative charges shall be waived for all nonprofit agencies. The Borough shall charge a rate of $10 an hour, per vehicle, if a vehicle is required. If the Borough is not notified of the cancellation or postponement of an event at least four hours prior to the scheduled start time, the private party making the request shall be required to pay the Borough for a minimum of four hours at the above-specified rates for each officer scheduled to work said event. This four-hour minimum guaranty for failure to notify in the case of cancellation or postponement shall be waived for all nonprofit agencies. The Borough Administrator is authorized to establish the appropriate procedure for payment and collection of this charge.
