A.
Pursuant to the adoption of the provisions of the
Civil Service Act of the State of New Jersey,[1] the Mayor and Council have adopted an ordinance creating
civil service classifications for Borough employees in accordance
with specifications established by the New Jersey Civil Service Commission.

B.
A copy of the schedules containing the civil service
classifications shall be kept on file in the office of the Borough
Clerk for examination and inspection by the public.

Residency.

In accordance with the General Laws of the State of
New Jersey and the ordinances of the Borough of Park Ridge, all duly
qualified applicants for appointment to any classified position in
the Borough of Park Ridge shall be classified in the categories set
forth below and appointed in the order and manner specified therein:

The residency status described herein is determined
as of the closing date of the application acceptance by the New Jersey
Division of Personnel pursuant to law.
