[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of River Edge 6-16-1975 by Ord. No. 644 (§ 12-4 of the
1975 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:49-5.1, the aforesaid
regulations for the construction and maintenance of hotels and multiple
dwellings, Article 19, Maintenance, 1973 printing, plus amendments,
is hereby adopted by the Borough of River Edge.

Any person found guilty of violating any provision
of said regulations who fails to abate the same within 30 days after
notice from the Housing Inspector, upon conviction thereof, shall
be liable to a fine not exceeding $1,000, or imprisonment for up to
90 days, or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, or
any combination thereof, for each violation.
