GENERAL REFERENCES

There is hereby created the position of Qualified Purchasing Agent.
A. 
The Qualified Purchasing Agent shall serve as a purchasing agent as defined in N.J.A.C. 5:34-5.1.
B. 
The QPA will hold a valid QPA certificate as approved by the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, to perform certain provisions of the Local Public Contract Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.)
The QPA shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to the consent of the Council.
The salary for the position of Qualified Purchasing Agent shall be as provided in the Borough Salary Ordinance as established by the Mayor and Council.[1]
