[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Riverdale 2-1-1988 by Ord. No. 2-88. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Borough of Riverdale shall enter into a contract with the Borough of Butler, Pequannock, Kinnelon and Lincoln Park continuing the Dial-A-Ride Program pursuant to the Interlocal Services Act, N.J.S.A. 40:8A-1 et seq.
The Dial-A-Ride program shall be subject to the general supervision of a Dial-A-Ride committee consisting of two members from each member municipality. The Riverdale members shall be appointed by the Borough Council to serve for a period of one year.
Five copies of the proposed contract shall be placed on file with the Borough Clerk in the Municipal Building of the Borough of Riverdale, 91 Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, New Jersey, and shall be available for inspection at any time during normal business hours.
The Mayor and the Borough Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the proposed agreement which shall take effect upon the adoption of parallel ordinances of the participating municipalities.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed as to inconsistency only.
This ordinance shall take effect as provided by law.
