Any uses not specifically permitted in a zoning district established by this chapter are hereby specifically prohibited from the district.
Should any section or provision of this chapter be declared by the courts to be unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole nor the validity of any other section or provision of the ordinance than the one so declared.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances heretofore adopted which are inconsistent with the terms and provisions of this chapter are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
This chapter shall not take effect until final publication and passage by the Borough Council of the Borough of Riverton.
An appeal from any final decision of the Planning Board or Zoning Board of Adjustment shall be taken to the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey, except as provided in N.J.S.40:55D-17 of the Municipal Land Use Law.
Unless amended by the Zoning Board, all variances terminate two years from the date of approval unless all work associated therewith has been completed and all other conditions fulfilled.
Reviewing boards, as well as potential applicants, shall use the Master Plan as a guide to create development or redevelopment, which is consistent with the zone plan. Land use applications shall never impair the zone plan, rather, when possible, they shall enhance it.
If any section, sentence, clause, provision or portion of this chapter shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such holdings shall not affect or impair any other sections, sentences, clauses, provisions or portions of this chapter.
