As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated unless a different meaning clearly appears in the context:
STORMWATER
The meaning ascribed to it in Chapter 185, Stormwater System.
WASTEWATER
Any water generated from filter discharge, rinsing or backwash, or by any other means of emptying water, from a residential swimming pool, hot tub or spa.
It shall be a violation of this chapter for any owner or lessee of real property in the Township of Stafford, in any zone, to redirect, channel, funnel, or otherwise divert stormwater onto any adjacent property owned or leased by another.
It shall be a violation of this chapter for any owner or lessee of real property in any residential zone to redirect, channel, funnel or otherwise divert wastewater onto any adjacent property owned or leased by another, or into any adjacent or nearby creeks, waterways or lagoons.
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than $1,250, by imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days and/or by a term of community service not to exceed 90 days. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
