Under the provisions of the Borough Code,[1] as last amended, and any other statutes now or hereafter pertaining or applicable thereto and any ordinances that may be lawfully enacted for the purposes hereof, there is hereby established a Civil Service Commission, hereinafter referred to as the “Commission.”

The Commission shall consist of three Commissioners who shall be qualified electors of the Borough.
The Commissioners shall be appointed by Council initially to serve for the terms of two, four, and six years, and as terms thereafter expire shall be appointed for terms of six years. The Commissioners shall receive no compensation.
The Commission and the individual Commissioners shall have the powers, rights, and duties as set forth by the Borough Code, as amended, and other applicable statues and ordinances.
