The speed limit for both directions of traffic
along the streets or parts thereof described in this section is hereby
established at the rate of speed of 25 miles an hour on all streets
unless indicated otherwise. It shall be unlawful for any person to
drive a vehicle at a higher speed than the maximum prescribed for
that street or part of a street.
A.

A.
On all Borough streets or portions of Borough streets
in the Borough of Moosic, by authority granted by Section 4902(a)
of the Vehicle Code,[1] it shall be unlawful for any person to drive any vehicle
or combination of vehicle having a gross weight in excess of 9,000
pounds, except for local deliveries and pickup, school buses and emergency
vehicles.

B.
Any person who violates any provision of this section
shall be prosecuted under Section 4902(a) of the Vehicle Code, and
upon conviction shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $150 and costs,
and an additional penalty of $75 for each 300 pounds, or part thereof,
in excess of 3,000 pounds over the maximum allowable weight, as provided
by Section 4902(a) of the Vehicle Code.
