Under the provisions of MGL c. 40, § 8D,
there is established an Historical Commission of the Town of Dennis
for the purposes and with the rights and duties provided by law, to
be composed of seven members appointed by the Select Board Members
for terms of three years.[1]

Editor's Note: Originally there were five
members of this Commission, the initial appointments of which were
one member for one year, two members for two years and two members
for three years.
