The Annual Town Meeting for the appropriation of money and for all other matters that may properly come before it shall be held on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in May in each year at such places as the Select Board Members shall determine. The Annual Town Meeting for the election of officers and for such matters as are required by law to be determined by ballot shall be held on the second Tuesday following the first Monday in May in each year. Commencing at an Annual Town Election to be held no sooner than 2009, the Dennis Water District Election shall be held in conjunction with the Dennis Town Election, with full responsibility for the conduct of such election to be vested in the officers of the Town, who shall place on the ballots to be used at said election the election of officers of the Dennis Water District and any question or questions as may be requested of them by the Board of Water Commissioners of the Dennis Water District.

The warrants shall be served by posting the attested printed or written copies thereof in each of the post offices in the Town.

No business shall be transacted at any Town Meeting unless there is a quorum present of at least 150 legal voters, except for Special Meetings which are called to meet any contingencies of the Town; in such cases, 75 legal voters shall constitute a quorum, but at such meetings no other business shall be transacted unless the required 150 legal voters are present. Meetings for the election of officers are excluded from this provision.

Robert's Rules shall be the authority for the government of all business meetings.
