Streets and sidewalks — See Ch. 246.
No person, firm or corporation shall hereafter install any pipes, cables or wires beneath the ground, on any street or public place of the City of Gloversville, New York, unless such person, firm or corporation shall first file with the office of the City Engineer of the City of Gloversville, New York, a map or diagram showing the location of such pipe, cable or wire, and the depth at which the same is installed beneath the surface.
Any person violating any provision of this chapter may be punishable by a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.) or imprisonment for a period not exceeding fifteen (15) days, or both.
