All elected officials, the Chief Administrator and all directors of departments, before commencing their official duties, shall take and sign the required oath of office as shall from time to time be prescribed by law. Such oath shall be taken and signed before a Judge, District Justice or Notary Public of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Mayor shall administer the oath of office to members of commissions, authorities and boards and appropriate employees. This oath shall be filed in written form with the Municipal Secretary.
Whenever any time established by this code for the taking of any action expires on a Saturday, Sunday or on a legal holiday, such time shall not expire on said day but shall expire on the next business day.
The environmental impact statement required by § C-90 of the Charter is contained in Chapter 201, Subdivision and Land Development, and Chapter 220, Zoning. Such sections of the above ordinances are hereby incorporated by reference into this code to the same extent as if said sections of said ordinances had been set forth herein.
