The subdivider shall grade and pave residential
streets, accessways and alleys and construct or install curbs, streetlights,
street signs, fire hydrants, water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers
and related improvements and facilities, including sidewalks, crosswalks,
shade trees and off-street parking paving, from the lot or lots to
an existing improved street.
The performance of any work shall be in strict
accordance with the approved final plan and with the other Township
specifications now in effect or hereafter adopted relating to such
type of work as approved by the Township Engineer.
All gas, water, electric and other mains, pipes
and conduits, together with all service connections or laterals, which
shall be constructed to the right-of-way line shall be laid, where
the need therefor can be reasonably anticipated, before streets, accessways
or alleys, shown on approved final plans, are paved.
A.
Notice to Township. The Township Engineer shall be
notified 24 hours in advance of the commencement of any construction
operations, such as grading, paving or sewer installation, in order
that provision may be made for the proper inspection of such construction
operation.
B.
Samples of materials. Samples of materials and every
reasonable facility for ascertaining whether the work is in conformity
with the provisions of the Subdivision Regulations and Township specifications
shall be furnished the proper employees of the Township in the same
manner as if required of contractors under the terms of highway or
sanitary sewer specifications.
A.
Cost of material tests. The subdivider shall pay the
actual costs of any material tests.
B.
Inspection charge. The subdivider shall reimburse
the Township for necessary inspection at the rates established from
time to time by the Commissioners for each day or portion thereof
that a Township inspector is engaged on the work.
