A. 
The following schedule of fees is hereby established with respect to licenses, permits and activities required or regulated in the Township of Nether Providence. Application for and the issuance of such licenses and permits shall be subject to the provisions of the specific chapter or section of the Code indicated for each type of license, permit or activity, and the business, activity or operation shall be subject to all regulations set forth in the chapter or section to which reference is made.
B. 
The schedule of fees may be amended or revised from time to time by resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the township.

Fee is calculated using construction costs: Where the fee is calculated using construction costs, each fraction of construction costs over the base unit shall be counted as a full additional base unit.

Inspections, re-inspections, return for unprepared inspections: All inspections require a minimum of 48 hours' notice, with the exception of sewer and water tie-ins, which require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. In addition to the established fees, should the Code Official have to re-inspect due to Code violations or no-shows, the applicant shall pay the additional fee of $75 for each re-inspection.

Working without a permit: Should work for which a permit is required be started prior to obtaining said permit, the established fees shall be doubled. Payment of such doubled fees shall not relieve any person or corporation from complying with the requirements of the Township Code in the execution of the work or from any other penalties prescribed therein.

The attorney fees and collection fees set forth below are hereby adopted, approved and determined to be reasonable, including, without limitation, as contemplated by § 7106 of the Act.[1] The attorney fees and collection fees set forth below shall be included and added to the applicable MCTLA unpaid claim in an amount equal to the amount set forth in this Subsection A.

In addition to the collection fees set forth under Subsection A(1)(b) above, the amount of out-of-pocket charges, costs, expenses, commissions and fees incurred in connection with the filing, preservation and collection of the MCTLA unpaid claims, including, but not limited to, prothonotary fees and charges, sheriff fees and charges, postage expenses, title search expenses, vehicle identification number (VIN) search expenses, skip tracing and/or other investigatory service expenses, and the costs, fees, charges and/or expenses arising out of any payment by any credit card, debit card or any other payment medium, are hereby approved and shall be included, upon incurrence, together with the applicable MCTLA unpaid claim.
B. 
Interest. Interest will be assessed upon the unpaid claims at a rate of 10% per annum and added to the unpaid claims. The Township is permitted to waive any interest on any unpaid claim when the Township or any attorney and/or third-party collector collecting the unpaid claim believes, in its discretion, that such amount is de minimis or that the cost or burden of continuing collection outweighs the benefit of collecting the interest.
