[HISTORY: Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pottsville 8-15-1970

The Pottsville Free Public Library is hereby authorized and designated
to act as the agent of the city government to provide public library service
to the residents and taxpayers of the city for and on behalf of the city government.
The Council agrees to assist in the financial support of the Pottsville
Free Public Library at a level which will enable the library to be eligible
for state aid.
