Solid-fuel-burning equipment — See Ch. 187.
Fire prevention — See Ch. 121.
No portable space heater fueled by liquid heating oil, gasoline, kerosene or other combustible liquid shall be used in any building or other structure within the City of Pottsville except as provided in § 191-2 hereof.
A space heater of the kind described in § 191-1 hereof may be used as a temporary means of heat within any building or other structure during the course of construction therein, so long as such building or other structure is not occupied by any persons other than those engaged in the construction work.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not more than six hundred dollars ($600.) and, in default of payment of fine and costs, be imprisoned not more than ninety (90) days. Each day during which any violation shall continue constitutes a separate offense.
