The Borough Council of the Borough of Ridley Park, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, constituting the Municipal Authority of said Borough, as defined in the Act of Assembly known as the "Municipality Authorities Act of 1945" (the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended and supplemented),[1] hereby signifies its intention to organize and incorporate an authority under the provisions of said Act.

The name of the proposed authority shall be "Ridley Park Hospital Authority of Delaware County."
The Mayor of the Borough, the President, or the Vice President in his absence, of the Council and the Secretary, or Assistant Secretary in his absence, of the Borough of Ridley Park are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of said Borough to execute Articles of Incorporation for said Authority in the following form:
A. 
In compliance with the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 (the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended and supplemented), the Borough of Ridley Park, Delaware County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, pursuant to an ordinance duly enacted by the Borough Council of said Borough and approved by the Mayor of said Borough, desiring to incorporate an authority thereunder, does hereby certify:
(1) 
The name of the Authority shall be the "Ridley Park Hospital Authority of Delaware County."
(2) 
Said Authority is formed under the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 (the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended and supplemented).
(3) 
No other authority has been organized under the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 or under the Act approved June 28, 1935, P.L. 463, nor is in existence in or for said Borough of Ridley Park, except the Ridley Park, Delaware County, School District Authority.
(4) 
The name of the incorporating municipality is the "Borough of Ridley Park, Delaware County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania."[1]

B. 
Said Authority is organized for the purpose only to acquire, hold, construct, improve, maintain and operate, own and lease, either in the capacity of lessor or lessee, hospitals and shall exercise all of the powers granted to an authority organized for such purpose by the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 under which it is organized.

The members of the Board of Ridley Park Hospital Authority of Delaware County are hereby specifically appointed as members of the Board of said Authority for the terms of office set after their names.
The Mayor, the President of the Council and the Secretary of the Borough of Ridley Park are hereby authorized and directed to execute and file said Articles of Incorporation, together with a certified copy of this chapter and required proofs of publication, with the Secretary of the Commonwealth and to do, execute and perform any and all acts and things and to pay all fees and costs necessary or appropriate to effect the incorporation of said Ridley Park Hospital Authority of Delaware County.
