The purpose of this district is to provide sufficient space
for automobile-oriented merchandising, including the provision of
off-street parking spaces and safe circulation of pedestrian and motor
traffic in the district and adjoining areas. Techniques including
marginal access roads, joint access to thoroughfares, and flexible
placement of structures to promote an orderly, safe environment shall
be encouraged.
Land, buildings, or premises shall be used by right for only
one or more of the following uses:
A.
All uses permitted in the C-1 District.
B.
All residential uses permitted in the R-3 District.
C.
Hotels, motels, or inns and related facilities on a minimum lot size
of two acres.
D.
Convenience stores.
E.
Fast-food or drive-in restaurants.
F.
Gas or service stations.
G.
Beverage distributors.
H.
Car washes.
None.
