The Rostraver Public Library Board is hereby
created.
It shall have the authority to supervise, maintain
and regulate library activities and functions and to advise the Board
of Commissioners of the Township on all Township matters pertaining
to the Rostraver Public Library.
The Township of Rostraver agrees further to
assist in the maintenance of the Rostraver Public Library in accord
with the provisions of 24 P.S. § 4401 by making appropriations
as nearly adequate as its finances will permit.

In accord with 24 P.S. § 4411 of the
Library Code, the Township Commissioners will appoint nine persons
to serve as representatives on the Board of Directors of the Rostraver
Public Library, each representative to serve three years, the terms
expiring as provided by 24 P.S. § 4411 of the Library Code.
In accord with 24 P.S. § 4412 of the
Library Code, the Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Library
shall give bond to the municipality with satisfactory surety in such
amount as the Board of Directors may determine.
The Board of Directors shall prepare and present
to the Township Commissioners by November 1 of each year a budget
for the following year and such reports as are required by 24 P.S.
§§ 4413 and 4414 of the Library Code and shall give
free library service to the residents and taxpayers, as provided in
24 P.S. § 4415 of the Library Code.
