The fees required by this chapter are the municipal
project plan review fee and the municipality inspection fee. The municipal
review fee shall be established by the municipality to defray review
costs incurred by the municipality and the Municipal Engineer. The
applicant shall pay all fees.
The municipality shall establish a project plan
review fee schedule by resolution of the municipal governing body
based on the size of the development project and based on the municipality’s
costs for reviewing project plans. The municipality shall periodically
update the project plan review fee schedule to ensure that review
costs are adequately reimbursed.
The fees required by this chapter shall, at
a minimum, cover:
A.
Administrative/clerical costs.
B.
The review of the project plan by the municipality
and the Municipal Engineer.
C.
The site inspections, including but not limited to
preconstruction meetings, inspections during construction of stormwater
BMPs, and final inspection upon completion of the stormwater BMPs.
D.
Any additional work required to enforce any permit
provisions regulated by this chapter, correct violations, and assure
proper completion of stipulated remedial actions.
