The Township of South Fayette may from time
to time appoint and empower a designated individual(s) who is a citizen
of South Fayette Township or business entity located in South Fayette
Township to prepare and issue real estate tax certifications upon
the request of the public.
The Township of South Fayette can create or
end such an appointment at will.
The Township of South Fayette hereby provides
the authority for such an appointee to collect a fee up to $15 authorized
by the school district and $15 by the Township, totaling $30, for
each three-year period of tax certification prepared and provided,
and, upon issuance of said tax certification, the appointee shall
be permitted to collect and retain the above-listed fee.
The thirty-dollar fee shall cover the cost of
all services, record review and certification rendered in the preparation
of the tax certification and providing same to or on behalf of the
property owner.
The appointee may decline to perform this appointed
service, and, should this result, another person(s) or entity may
be authorized and appointed to perform such services.
The Township of South Fayette may change this
article at any time by resolution.
