[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Washington, Berks
County, Pennsylvania (the "Township"), grants to Comcast of Southeast
Pennsylvania, LLC ("Comcast"), a nonexclusive and revocable franchise
authorizing and permitting Comcast to construct, operate and maintain
a cable system in the Township's public rights-of-way for the
provision of cable services, upon the terms and conditions of a cable
franchise agreement dated May 24, 2012, between the Township and Comcast
(the "agreement") and of a side letter agreement dated May 2, 2012,
from Comcast to the Township and accepted by the Township on May 24,
2012 (the "side agreement").
The Board of Supervisors of the Township hereby approves the
agreement and the side agreement, including all of the terms and conditions
contained therein, and hereby authorizes the execution and delivery
of the agreement and side agreement.
If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase
of this chapter is for any reason found to be unconstitutional, illegal
or invalid, such unconstitutionality, illegality or invalidity shall
not affect or impair any of the remaining sections, subsections, paragraphs,
sentences, clauses or phrases of this chapter. It is hereby declared
as the intent of the Board of Supervisors that this chapter would
have been adopted had such unconstitutional, illegal or invalid section,
subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, or phrase thereof not been
included therein.
