Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed
former Part III of the Appendix, Pension Plan, adopted 3-9-1971 by
Ord. No. 856, amended in its entirety 10-8-1985 by Ord. No. 1118.
The Appendix of the Code of the Township of
Springfield, Part III, entitled "Civilian Pension Plan" is amended
by the deletion of said Part III and the incorporation of a new Part
III, to be entitled "Springfield Township Civilian Employees Pension
Plan," as amended and restated effective January 1, 1995 ("the plan").
Said plan is adopted by reference with the same effect as if it had
been set out verbatim in this section and a copy of which will be
filed with the minutes of the meeting at which this ordinance was
adopted.
The proper officers of the Township of Springfield
be and the same are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
plan as hereby approved.
The plan may be amended by the Board of Commissioners
from time to time as may be required by resolution of the Board.[1]
