These specifications may, for simplicity, be
referred to as the "Street and Road Specifications."

As used herein, the following words shall be defined
as set forth after each:
The Town Engineer of the Town of New Castle.
The regulations in force and effect at any time by the Planning
Board of the Town of New Castle governing subdivisions.[1]
The Planning Board of the Town of New Castle
in the case of a street or highway shown on a plat or plan submitted
to it for approval as to any order given or action taken at or before
such approval, and an application under § 276 or 280-a of
the Town Law.

The Town Board of the Town of New Castle in
the case of a proposed dedication.
B.
Technical terms. All technical terms used herein are
used in their usual meaning. In case of any doubt, the meaning given
to such terms by the current Highway Specifications of the State of
New York shall be used.
