No person shall use a skateboard or in-line skates on any public sidewalk located in the Borough of Lewisburg between southern right-of-way line of Cherry Alley on the north, the northern right-of-way line of Pine Alley on the south, the western right-of-way line of Front Street on the east and the eastern right-of-way line of Seventh Street on the west.
No person shall use a skateboard or in-line skates in a reckless manner on any public sidewalk so as to endanger any person or property. No person shall use a skateboard or in-line skates on a public sidewalk without exercising due care for the safety of other persons using the sidewalk. Any person using a skateboard or in-line skates on a public sidewalk shall yield the right-of-way to such other persons using the sidewalk.
Any person or persons who shall violate this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding before a District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600, plus costs of prosecution, and/or be imprisoned for a period not to exceed 90 days.
