Moving traffic must keep parallel with and at the extreme right side of the street unless when passing another vehicle going in the same direction or when passing an obstruction on the right-hand side of said street.
Vehicles must keep to the right of all limit lines painted or marked in the center of the street.

A. 
U-turns. It shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle to make a U-turn, that is a turn in an arc of 180º:
(1) 
At the intersection of Main Street and North and South Dutcher Streets or at the intersection of Main Street and North and South Eckar Streets at the intersection of North and South Ferris Streets or at the intersection of Main Street and Broadway or between intersections of any street with Main Street.

(2) 
At the intersection of South Broadway (New York State Route 9) and the entrance to Downingwood-at-Irvington Condominium, which U-turn is initiated from the southbound lanes of South Broadway (New York State Route 9).

B. 
Left turns.
(1) 
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to make a left turn onto South Broadway while exiting from Abbotway.
(2) 
South Broadway onto Abbotway.

(3) 
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to make a left-hand turn onto South Broadway while exiting from Sycamore Lane.

(4) 
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to make a left-hand turn onto South Broadway (New York State Route 9) while exiting from Dows Lane, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. when school is in session.

C. 
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to make any turns on a red light at the following intersections:

(1) 
North Broadway and East Sunnyside Lane.
(2) 
North Broadway and West Sunnyside Lane.
(3) 
North Broadway and Main Street.
(4) 
South Broadway and Main Street.
(5) 
South Broadway and Station Road.
(6) 
South Broadway and West Clinton Avenue.
(7) 
South Broadway and East Clinton Avenue.
(8) 
South Broadway and Langdon Avenue.

D. 
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to make any turn but a right-hand turn while exiting from Langdon Avenue onto South Broadway.

E. 
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to make any turn but a right-hand turn while exiting from Mercy Drive onto South Broadway.

It shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle to operate such vehicle backward around the corner marking the intersection of two streets in the Village of Irvington, but this shall not be construed to make it unlawful to operate a motor vehicle backward into a public street from a private way or entrance or a loading zone.
It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to operate such vehicle backwards against the normal direction of traffic for a distance greater than is necessary to back from a parking space.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any commercial vehicle on the following streets: Station Road, Washington Avenue, Langdon Avenue, Harriman Road and Cyrus Field Road.

A. 
It shall be unlawful to load or unload trucks exceeding three gross tons in weight from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. on North and South Astor Streets and North and South Buckhout Streets and on any property fronting those streets.
B. 
The penalty for violation of this article shall be a fine of $150.

There shall be no through trucking on West Clinton Avenue, on South Buckhout Street, on East Sunnyside Lane or on North Buckhout Street.
The Police Department shall have the right to change travel routes and directions and impose other restrictions during emergencies.
