The Town, at its Annual Meeting shall, when the term of office of any incumbent expires. except when other provision is made by law, choose by ballot from its registered voters the following Town officers for the following terms of office:
A. 
For three-year terms (one to be elected each year):
(1) 
Three members of the Select Board;
(2) 
Three members of the Board of Health;
(3) 
Three members of the Board of Library Trustees;
(4) 
Three members of the Board of Assessors;
(5) 
Three members of the Park Commission.
B. 
For three-year terms (one to be elected every three years):
(1) 
One Town Clerk.
(2) 
One Moderator.
C. 
For three-year terms on the King Philip Regional School Committee:
(1) 
One member for a three-year term in 2023 and going forward.
(2) 
One member for a three-year term in 2024 and going forward.
D. 
For three-year terms on the Plainville School Committee:
(1) 
One member for a three-year term in 2022 and going forward.
(2) 
Two members for a three-year term in 2023 and going forward.
(3) 
Two members for a three-year term in 2024 and going forward.
E. 
For five-year terms (one to be elected every year):
(1) 
Five members of the Planning Board.
F. 
For five-year terms:
(1) 
Four members of the Housing Authority, one to be elected for a five-year term in 2022, 2024, 2025 and 2026 and going forward.
(2) 
Four members of the Redevelopment Authority, one to be elected for a five-year term in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2026 and going forward.
A. 
All Town officers and any committee not named in § 128-1 of this article shall be appointed by the Board of Selectmen, unless other provision is made by a vote of the Town or unless otherwise provided for by statute.
B. 
Individuals appointed to a committee under this section, as well as those appointed to the Board of Appeals under § 500-6, shall be required to be residents of the Town of Plainville and maintain residency within the Town of Plainville during the tenure of their term. Residency shall not be a prerequisite for appointment to ad hoc committees nor when the holder of a specific position is voted by the Town to be appointed to or eligible for appointment to a standing committee.
No members of any elected board or commission shall serve as superintendent under the board or commission of which he is a member.
The Annual Meeting for the election of officers required by law or by these bylaws to be elected by ballot shall be held on the first Monday in April in each year.
