A. 
No building, structure, area, lot or land shall be used, in whole or in part, for the following specified uses:
(1) 
Ammonia, chlorine or bleaching powder manufacturing and storage.
(2) 
Animal black, lampblack or bond black manufacture.
(3) 
Asphalt manufacture or refining.
(4) 
Automobile junkyard or any other establishment for the storage, reduction or deposit of junk or waste material of any kind.
(5) 
Blast furnaces and boiler works.
(6) 
Celluloid or film manufacture, processing, storage or extraction of products therefrom.
(7) 
Cement and cinder block manufacture, cement, lime, plaster and potash manufacture.
(8) 
Creosote treatment or manufacture.
(9) 
Cemetery, crematory or mausoleum, unless same is associated with an existing religious order in the Borough of North Haledon.

(10) 
Disinfectant, insecticide or poison manufacture.
(11) 
Distillation of coal, petroleum, refuse, grain, wood or bone.
(12) 
Dye manufacturing, cleaning and dyeing establishments.
(13) 
Emery cloth and sandpaper manufacture.
(14) 
Explosives and fireworks manufacture or storage of larger quantities.
(15) 
Fertilizer manufacture.
(16) 
Forge plant, iron, steel, brass or copper foundry.
(17) 
Gas manufacture and storage.
(18) 
Glue and other products where the processes include the refining and recovering of products from fish, animals, refuse or offal.
(19) 
Grease, lard, fat or tallow rendering or refining.
(20) 
Grain drying or food manufacture from refuse, mash or grain; yeast plant.
(21) 
Incineration, reduction, storage or decomposing of slaughterhouse refuse, rancid fats, garbage, dead animals or offal; also of contents of cesspools, sanitary disposal plants and industrial wastes of any description.
(22) 
Paint, oil, varnish, turpentine, shellac or enamel or solvent manufacture.
(23) 
Paper pulp manufacture.
(24) 
Topsoil stripping of more than 1/2 acre of land, moving of soil, earth, sand, rock, etc., in excess of 500 cubic yards to and from any premises without the written approval of the Mayor and Council or its duly authorized agent.
(25) 
Quarry, sand pit, gravel pit, rock and stone crushing, screening and storage.
(26) 
Rubber manufacture and treatment of any type of natural, synthetic, plastic material, etc.
(27) 
Slaughtering of animals; stockyards.
(28) 
Soap and starch manufacture.
(29) 
Sulfurous, sulfuric, acetic, nitric, picric, carbolic, hydrochloric or any other acid manufacture.
(30) 
Swimming and bathing ponds; lake or pool operated as a business and open to the public or operated on an annual private membership plan.
(31) 
Tar or tar product manufacture.
(32) 
Tourist lodge, trailer camp, mobile home establishments or motel.
(33) 
Used car establishment of any kind.
(34) 
Any other use from which there is any emission of odor, dust, smoke, gas, noise or glare beyond the boundaries of the lot on which such use is located or which, by reason of vibration or any other characteristics, is noxious or offensive or would tend to impair or hinder the most appropriate use of land in the vicinity in accordance with the comprehensive plan of land use as set forth in this chapter.
B. 
Trailers and trailer camps.

(1) 
Parking trailers prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to occupy as a dwelling any trailer on any street or other public place or any private property within the limits of the Borough.
(2) 
Trailer camp prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to locate, erect, maintain or conduct an automobile trailer camp on any tract of land within the limits of the Borough.
C. 
No business, commercial or industrial establishment to which the public is invited shall be open between the hours 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., Eastern standard time.
