No person shall, except in necessary defense of person or property or a law enforcement officer discharging a firearm in the line of duty, fire or discharge any gun or other firearm within the limits of the Borough of Indiana.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
