The Township Committee shall appoint a Certified Animal Control Officer whose duty it shall be to enforce the provisions of this chapter. The Township Committee may also appoint one or more persons known as "Animal Control Officers," who may impound dogs subject to seizure under the provisions of Subsection 5-7.1. This chapter shall be enforced by either the Animal Control Officer, Health Officer or the police.
