The provisions, rules and regulations of this section pertaining to parking areas applicable to any parking lot located in the Township of Bernards which is not owned by the municipality and which has a parking capacity in excess of 30 automobiles which is opened to the public or to which the public is invited.

No vehicle shall be stored in any such parking area and no vehicle which is being held for sale or resale by a person or party in the business of selling new or used vehicles shall be parked in any such parking area. In addition, no vehicle which is being held for sale by a person or party not ordinarily in the business of selling new or used vehicles shall display more than one sign advertising it for sale, which sign must be mounted inside the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle and may not exceed three square feet in area, while said vehicle is parked in any such parking area.

No vehicle shall be parked except within a single designated parking space where indicated by marked lines on the surface of the parking area or as may be directed by the police or attendant in charge of the parking area or by a control sign indicating the designated area to park.

No trailers, trucks or buses shall be parked in any such parking area except only in such space as may be specifically designated for the same. No truck having a total combined gross weight of vehicle plus load in excess of 8,000 pounds shall be operated, driven or parked in any such lot regulated by this chapter. No owner, operator, or driver shall operate, drive, or permit such operation, driving, or parking of such vehicles in any lot regulated by this chapter.

No vehicle shall be parked within the entrance or exit to any such parking area or within any of the aisles thereof.

Further rules and regulations pertaining to such parking areas and the parking of motor vehicles therein may be made by resolution of the Township Committee.

Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed to prevent trucks in excess of 8,000 pounds from entering such parking lots for the purposes of picking up and making deliveries of merchandise or other property to stores or other businesses or uses of the property where the parking lot is located; nor to prevent or exclude emergency vehicles, township, or other governmental vehicles, public utility company or contractor's trucks to be used in connection with the construction, installation, operation or maintenance of facilities located on the property.

a. 
No vehicle shall park in the following areas:
1. 
Lyons Mall: as designated on the site plan for Lyons Mall which is on file in the Township Engineer's office and which is hereby made part of this subsection by reference:
(a) 
Front of Grand Union (south side).
(b) 
Side of Grand Union (east side), along frontage of satellite stores west of Grand Union.
2. 
YMCA: along the easterly curbline of the parking lot extending from the intersection of the delivery driveway to the north/east corner of the parking lot.
3. 
Krausers:
(a) 
Along the northerly curbline of Krausers store.
(b) 
Along the southerly and westerly curbline of the renovated barn.
(c) 
Along the outside of the curb return separating the two parking lots behind the two buildings.
4. 
Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church:
(a) 
Along both sides of the rear driveway extending 309 feet from Allen Street to the church building.
(b) 
Along the southerly side line of Allen Street extending 63 feet to the north and 50 feet to the south from the intersection of the church driveway.
(c) 
Along the northerly side line of Allen Street 200 feet from the parking lot on the corner of North Finley Avenue and Allen Street to the second parking lot and tot-lot.
5. 
Hills Highland Village Center:
(a) 
Along the westerly curbline of the north entrance to its terminus south of Building B.
(b) 
Along the easterly curbline of the north entrance, including the outer curb returns for the parking stalls, to its terminus in front of Building C.
(c) 
Along the westerly curbline of the south entrance, including the outer curb returns for the parking stalls, to its intersection with the northerly entrance driveway.
(d) 
Along the easterly curbline of the southerly entrance to its intersection with the northerly entrance driveway with the exception of the eight marked stalls in front of the bank (Building D).
(e) 
Along the easterly and westerly curblines of the access drive to the Recreation Center and extending to the loading dock behind Building C.
(f) 
Along the northerly and southerly curbline of the access drive to the park-and-ride lot between buildings A and E including the outer curb returns for the parking stalls.
6. 
Fellowship Village: Fellowship Road North, both sides of Fellowship Road North from the emergency access road through Fellowship Deaconry to its terminus at Antioch Court, including the curb returns into Ephesus Court, Emmaus Court and Beersheba Court.
7. 
Fellowship Hall: from the intersection with Fellowship Road along the interior curbline around the green and the outside curbline in front of the hall with the exception of the designated parking stalls.
8. 
Fellowship Road South: Bethesda Health Center Service Entrance:
(a) 
Along the easterly curbline of Bethesda Court and the northerly curb return into the parking lot.
(b) 
Along the interior curbline around the green in front of the Health Center.
(c) 
Along the exterior curb of the green from the front of the Health Center to the entrance of the westerly parking lot.
b. 
All fire lanes shall be marked with yellow painted fire lane lines and DOT standard fire lane signs.
