GENERAL REFERENCES

The York County Courthouse, York County Government Center, York County Hospital and Home, County Departments Building, Youth Development Center, York County Prison and county offices at One West Marketway are facilities constructed and/or rented by the county for the conduct of county business and for the purposes of serving the taxpayers of York County.
County employees shall be prohibited from utilizing county equipment, materials or resources for personal use or gain.
Furthermore, employees shall not use, make available or lend such property to other individuals for any purpose other than authorized, York County government business.
Violation of this chapter shall subject employees to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.
Notwithstanding any other disciplinary action provided above, any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction before a District Justice having appropriate jurisdiction, be subject to a fine of $300 or, in default of the payment thereof, to 30 days' confinement, together with all costs of suit.
