Every person operating a motor vehicle which
is in any manner involved in an accident in which any person is killed
or injured or in which there is damage in excess of the amount currently
defined by statutes to any one vehicle or property shall report such
accident within five days to the registrar and to the Police Department
in accordance with the provisions of MGL c. 90, § 26.
