GENERAL REFERENCES
Off-road vehicles — See Ch. 153.
No person shall operate a motor vehicle or a motorcycle upon any public highway within the corporate limits of the Town of Parma at a rate of speed in excess of the posted speed limit as set by resolution of the Town Board.[1]

There shall be a limit of 48 hours' parking in one spot in all town-owned or -maintained parking lots.
The parking of vehicles in any of the following locations is hereby prohibited:
A. 
Bennett Road from the intersection of East Avenue and Wilder Road to No. 500.
B. 
Old Wilder Road.
C. 
End of West Beach Road.
A. 
The Code Enforcement Officer of the Town of Parma, subject to the approval of the Town Board, shall designate a traffic lane or other area designated for use by fire or other emergency vehicles on any street, road or parking area. He shall also have authority to designate handicapped parking areas in parking lots within the Town of Parma.
B. 
It shall be a violation of these regulations to park any vehicles or store any containers, receptacles or other material within any area adjacent to a hydrant or within any lanes or areas designated as a fire lane or fire zone in the Town of Parma. It shall also be a violation to park in a designated handicapped parking area without an official handicapped citizen parking sticker.
C. 
Anything contained in this chapter or any other applicable law to the contrary notwithstanding, any vehicle parked in violation of this regulation shall be towed away by the Town of Parma and stored at the expense of the owner, which expenses shall be paid prior to the redemption of the vehicle.
The penalty for parking violations shall be as follows:
A. 
Parking in areas designated for the handicapped: $15.
B. 
Parking in areas designated as fire lanes or in no-parking areas adjacent to hydrants: $10. It is intended that the storing of any containers, receptacles or other materials adjacent to hydrants or in any lanes or areas designated as a fire lane or fire zone shall constitute a parking violation.
C. 
All other parking violations: $5.
The Town Board may, from time to time, on public notice, modify the penalties herein established.

A. 
The Town of Parma does hereby adopt, as the official north-south truck route through the town, Manitou Road and Route 259.
B. 
An eight-ton weight restriction shall be posted immediately on Trimmer Road and Hinkleyville Road, stating no through truck traffic and local deliveries only.
The following intersections are designated as stop intersections:

A. 
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on all Town and county roads within the corporate limits of the Town of Parma between the dates of November 15 and April 15 of each year.
B. 
"No parking" signs shall be posted on all roads that intersect the Town of Parma boundaries setting out "NO PARKING, November 15th to April 15th of each year on ALL ROADS in the Town of Parma."
