This Town Meeting establishes a Conservation
Commission for the development and conservation of natural resources,
including water resources, within the territorial limits of Canton,
with full authority as provided for by § 7-131a of the General
Statutes.

The Commission shall consist of seven Commissioners
appointed by the Board of Selectmen to serve for four years each or
until their successors have been appointed and qualify.
