A. 
It is hereby established within and under the direction of the Hampton Fire Company a program to be commonly known as the "Fire Junior Cadet Program." Said program will be coordinated by a member of the Hampton Fire Company along with specific advisors who shall also be members of the Hampton Fire Company.
B. 
The Fire Junior Cadet Program shall also adhere to the minimum requirements as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:14-94 et seq.
A. 
Qualifications. Members of the Hampton Fire Junior Cadet Program must adhere to all minimum requirements as set forth by N.J.S.A. 40A:14-96 et seq., along with the following qualifications. Inasmuch as New Jersey state statutes are minimum qualifications, any qualifications contained herein which are more stringent shall be the controlling qualifications for said Fire Junior Cadet Program. No person shall hereafter become a member of the Hampton Fire Company Junior Cadet Program unless said person shall:

(1) 
Be between the ages of 14 and 17 years.
(2) 
Have written parental/guardian permission as required by N.J.S.A. 40A:14-96.
A. 
No member of the Fire Junior Cadet Program shall be allowed to:
(1) 
Be within the confines of a fire scene.
(2) 
Be allowed to respond to the firehouse during school hours.
(3) 
Be allowed permission to be in the firehouse unless there is an active member present, and with the member's permission.
B. 
Activities of Fire Junior Cadets shall be limited to:
(1) 
Attending meetings of the Fire Junior Cadets.
(2) 
Receiving instruction from active members.
(3) 
Participating in training that does not involve fire, smoke, toxic or noxious gas or hazardous materials or substances.
(4) 
Observing fire-fighting activities while under supervision of an active member.
