No person shall place upon or attach to any tree or any telephone or electric pole upon any of the streets within the Borough any handbills, advertisements or written or printed or partly printed or partly written notices of any kind, except such notices as by law are required to be posted.[1]

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment for a period not exceeding 90 days and/or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days.
