A. 
The owner or occupant or person having charge of each and every dwelling or other building or lot shall, within the first 12 hours after snow or hail has stopped falling or after the formation of ice on the sidewalks in front thereof, cause the snow or ice to be entirely removed from the sidewalk, unless the ice shall have been completely covered with sand or salt.
B. 
No person who is removing snow or ice from private property shall deposit that snow or ice on the paved portion of any street, sidewalk, roadway or public right-of-way in the Borough of Hampton.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment for a period not exceeding 90 days and/or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days.
