A.
Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersection of those streets described in Schedule I (§ 254-41), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
B.
The traffic signal installation shall be in accordance
with the provisions of An Act Concerning Motor Vehicles and Traffic
Regulations, Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the New Jersey Statutes Annotated,
and shall conform to the design and shall be maintained in operation
as authorized by the Department of Transportation of the State of
New Jersey.
A.
The speed limit for both directions of traffic along the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule II (§ 254-42), attached to and made a part of this chapter, is hereby established at the rate of speed indicated.
B.
Regulatory and warning signs shall be erected and
maintained to effect the above-designated speed limits.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule III (§ 254-43), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a U-turn on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IV (§ 254-44), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule V (§ 254-45), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule VI (§ 254-46), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VII (§ 254-47), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as through streets. Stop signs shall be installed on the near right side of the street intersecting the through street except where yield signs are provided for in the designations.
The intersections described in Schedule VIII (§ 254-48), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule IX (§ 254-49), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The lane locations described in Schedule X (§ 254-50), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as lane use reservations, and traffic shall move only as indicated.
No-passing zones are hereby established and shall be maintained along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XI (§ 254-51), attached to and made a part of this chapter, as authorized by the New Jersey Department of Transportation in accordance with the sketch dated and numbered as indicated.
Trucks in excess of the gross weights indicated are hereby excluded from the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XII (§ 254-52), except for the pickup and delivery of materials on such streets.

Vehicles over the gross weights indicated are hereby excluded from the bridges described in Schedule XIII (§ 254-53).

Streets designated in Schedule XIIIA are approved
for installation of speed humps in accordance with N.J.S.A. 39:4-8.10
and 39:4-8.11, having met the following criteria:
A.
The streets are totally self-contained within the
municipality and have no direct connection with any street in any
other municipality or the streets are totally self-contained one-way
streets that connect to a county road.
B.
The streets have a traffic volume under 3,000 vehicles
per day.
C.
The streets have a posted speed limit of 30 miles
per hour or less.
