A.
The Fire Official and/or his or her agents are hereby authorized
and empowered to issue written permits as required by the New Jersey
State Fire Safety Act in accordance with the regulations of the Act.
B.
All applications for permits required by this article shall be made
to the Fire Official in such form and detail as he or she shall prescribe.
A.
The fee for a copy of any report issued by the Fire Official with
respect to any permit, permit holder or use or operation requiring
a permit shall be $5 for the first page and $1 for each succeeding
page.
B.
The fee for the flushing of private fire hydrants shall be $20 per
hydrant, to be paid to the Bureau of Fire Prevention.
All fees collected for the issuance of permits as hereinabove
provided shall be the property of the Fire Commissioners of the Township
of Toms River, and the Fire Official of the Bureau of Fire Prevention
shall be the agent and agency designated by said public body to receive
said fees and deliver them to said public body, and the Fire Commissioners
of the Township of Toms River shall adopt reasonable rules and regulations
to effectuate the foregoing.
