Editor's Note: This ordinance repealed former Art. I, Sewer
Connections for Garbage Disposal Units, adopted 11-27-1973 by Ord.
No. 1378 as Ch. 89 of the 1973 Code.
No person, firm or corporation shall connect, allow to be connected
or maintain the connection of any garbage disposal unit with the sanitary
sewer systems of the Township of Toms River in the County of Ocean
and State of New Jersey.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine
not exceeding $100 or imprisonment in the common jail of the County
of Ocean for a term not exceeding 30 days, or both, in the discretion
of the court or Magistrate by whom said conviction shall be had. Each
and every day such violation shall continue shall be deemed a further
and separate offense under the terms of this article and subject to
the penalties herein prescribed.
