GENERAL REFERENCES
Officers and employees — See Ch. 52.
All officers and employees of the city, except those listed below and
the City Treasurer, shall be covered by a public employees' blanket position
bond in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.), or such amount as may
be established by resolution of the City Council, with a surety or other company
authorized by law to act as surety, to be approved by Council, conditioned
for the proper application and payment of all money or property coming into
their hands by virtue of their offices or positions.
The following city officials shall each, before entering upon the duties
of their respective offices, give a good and sufficient lawful bond to the
city, with a surety or other company authorized by law to act as surety, to
be approved by Council, conditioned for the honest and faithful performance
and discharge of their official duties and for proper application and payment
of all money or property coming into their hands by virtue of their offices,
in the following amounts:
